Regime Score›
Thesis: seven inputs — volatility, short- and long-term breadth, options positioning, new highs/lows, the index's own trend, and today's live advance/decline — each scored 0-100 on a smooth sliding scale (not hard step bands) and weighted by how much they typically say about regime health, averaged into one composite. A cross-check against your Playbook's setups, not a standalone signal. Shows "Scoring…" until every input for the day has arrived.
Weighting:
- VIX (20%): 100 at ≤12 (calm), 0 at ≥28 (fearful), sliding scale between
- % of NIFTY 500 above 50 EMA (15%) and above 200 EMA (15%): rises through 10–65%, eases back from 65–90% (overbought caution), flat 60 above that
- PCR (15%): 0 at ≤0.7, 100 at ≥1.3, sliding scale between
- New Highs vs Lows, NIFTY 500 252-day (15%): highs ÷ (highs+lows) × 100 — continuous, not just "which side wins"
- NIFTY 500 vs. its 20 EMA (10%): 0 at 3% below, 100 at 3% above, sliding scale between
- Market Thrust — today's live advance/decline (10%): kept modest since a single day is noisier than the structural factors above
Score ≥ 65 → Risk-On. Score ≤ 35 → Risk-Off. Else Neutral.
